Here it is, folks - the one you've been waiting for! This is the holy grail of classic Nike running posters. Published in 1977, it is the earliest Nike poster ever published (as far as we can tell), from when Phil Knight hired John Brown & Partners to handle his advertising - and the rest was history! This one features an awesome image of a runner in training on the back roads of Puget Sound, near Seattle, Washington, capturing the essence of the Pacific Northwest at the time, and the runner's ethos as he runs the lonely trail of early-morning miles. Below the picture is the title of the first Nike running shoe campaign, "THERE IS NO FINISH LINE", and a block of poetic verse that sets the tone for the Nike revolution in shoes, fashion, marketing and style, for the decades to come (you can read it in the picture shown here, just hover over the picture and it should blow up nicely). We obtained this one, in nearly original condition, as part of a large closeout of old-school Nike posters several years ago, and were saving this one for the right time, for one serious Nike fan or collector to grab and add to the ultimate collection. The only significant flaw is the rip in the top-left border area, which we have shown up-close in a photo. A small triangular bit of paper is missing; however, luckily, it's up in the corner where, once framed, you might not even notice it's gone. Anyway, you know how impossible this one is to find in any condition, let alone like this, with just the one flaw. So good luck, old-school runners and Nike collectors, don't miss your chance at this one!
