Own an amazing, rare collector's item, featuring one of the most dynamic players of his generation, in his farewell season! After suffering a severe concussion in the 1996-97 season, there was doubt as to whether future Hall of Famer Pat Lafontaine could still play at the NHL level. The New York Rangers took a shot, acquiring him in a trade from the Buffalo Sabres, and they scored! Lafontaine put up terrific numbers in his 67 games during the 1997-98 season - but, alas, it wasn't meant to last, as another concussion in March of 1998 effectively ended his career for good. He said goodbye to his playing career that summer, leaving behind a legacy of spectacular speed, touch, and inspiration for the fans he thrilled over the years. This poster was the final one of his career, and the only design released featuring Pat with the Rangers. It was pulled off the shelves after less than a year, and has been one of the most difficult-to-find hockey posters of that era. Don't miss your chance at this one - limited quantity remains in our warehouse!
